Some industrial gases like pure oxygen are capable of oxidizing in fire like intensity materials that are called inflammable under normal conditions. To avoid this safety risk, pressure valves with plastic design covers which may cover non-esthetical valve bodies are prohibited for use with certain technical gases. The design challenge now was to develop a cost-efficient gas valve, which could compete in design and function with similar plastic covered valves. Employing our engineering capacities and our design creativity we succeeded developing a gas valve with a full metal body which was not only lighter than ever before but communicated all its innovative safety features with its compelling and characteristic design language.
