The challenge was clear: Make the video door phone appear the slimmest product on the market – even with electronic components that could not be miniaturized any further. Sharp edges, plane surfaces, small radius and a “flying” appearance of the main body achieved the miracle and made this product a desirable thin object which makes a good figure on the wall of any type of home.
Versatile platform for a range of products
The product was conceived from the beginning to allow different configurations of the same product. The screen can be a high resolution glass touch screen, but also a polycarbonate screen with economic local capacitive interaction areas.
The wall mounted base is able to house an interface for 2-wired installations or be configured with an interface for IP-based installations.
In any case, the 7 inch display offers high performance visualization of the camera input as well as comfortable interaction for basic home automation.
